Scott Wade
Swinburne University, VICTORIA, Australia
Professor Wade works in the School of Engineering at Swinburne University. He leads a team that performs fundamental corrosion research and collaborates with industry and research organisations to provide guidance on applied corrosion, biofilm and biofouling problems. Scott has worked closely with industry on research that has received numerous awards. Scott has co-authored 100+ journal publications as well as played key roles in developing standards to guide best practice. His research interests include microbial corrosion, marine corrosion, accelerated low water corrosion, biofouling, and novel corrosion/biofouling resistant coatings. He is a long-term member and past president of the Victorian branch of the Australasian Corrosion Association, a council member of the International Biodegradation and Biodeterioration Society, and a member of AMPP.
